Suggested School Supplies

Supply Lists 2017-2018

GW Staff just updated the suggested school supplies for 2017-2018.   Each grade level list includes what the entire grade level would like to have the students bring to school.  Then each teacher may add items on individual teacher lists when school begins.

 

TK- Transitional Kindergarten

1 set thin Dry Erase Markers

2 - 4 oz. bottles of Elmer's White Glue (no gel glue, please)

3 boxes of Crayola Crayons/ 16 pk (one box for each trimester)

3 boxes classic colors Crayola Washable Markers/ 8 pk (broad line)

1 set Crayola Watercolors

1 "pump style" bottle of liquid Hand Sanitizer

1 box Kleenex

 

The above mentioned supplies will be used by our class community. Individual school boxes are NOT necessary in TK. It would be greatly appreciated if the supplies could be provided the first day of school.

 

1 backpack - Large size; no rollers, please. (Example: Jansport brand at Costco)

Kindergarten

 

2 dozen Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencils

2 BIG ELMER's glue sticks (big/22g)

1 box CRAYOLA colored pencils 24 pack

1 set EXPO dry erase markers

1 - 4 oz. bottle of ELMER’S White School Glue (no gel glue, please)

3 boxes of 24ct CRAYOLA Crayons (one box for each trimester)

1 box of CLASSIC COLOR CRAYOLA washable markers 10pk (broad line)

1 set CRAYOLA Watercolor Paints

1 “pump style” bottle of liquid hand sanitizer

1 box of Kleenex tissues

1 box of band aids

Third Grade

  • 1 pair Fiskar scissors (size that best fits your child)
  • 2 yellow Sharpie broad tip highlighters
  • *1 pack of Crayola colored pencils
  • *1 pack of 10 regular thick or thin markers
  • 1 ream white copy paper
  • 1 set of Crayola 8 watercolors
  • *3 black Expo dry erase markers broad tip
  • *1 bottle of Elmer's liquid school glue 4 oz.
  • *3 black Sharpie markers (regular size tip)
  • *3 black Sharpie markers (super fine tip)
  • 1 - 1 inch binder with 5 divider tabs (student choice - for personal homework use)
  • *1 box of Kleenex tissue
  • 1 Reminder Binder (purchase at school for $5.00 - very important)

 

*Indiates an item that may be used as a shared donation in the classroom (teacher discretion). In addition to the above ... extra pencils, markers, watercolors and glue are always appreciated and will be stored for future us in the spring or to help another student who is unable to purchase from the list.

1 12" ruler in centimeters and inches

2  single subject spiral notebooks

15 x 3" Rubbermaid drawer organizer

1 pair of earbuds

1 individual pencil sharpener

2 highlighter pens (2 different colors)

· Reminder Binder- (purchase at school office for $5.00)- used daily. Parents are highly encouraged to purchase George White Reminder Binder to help with consistency, organization, etc.
